Itinerary
Our tour
guide and vehicle will meet you at the wharf where the ships tenders drop passengers and then we head to the historic town of Kerikeri a short drive away where you will be taken on a scenic tour
of the area.
Kerikeri Basin is where Maori welcomed missionaries in 1819 to establish a Church Mission Settlement. This established the framework for New Zealand's bi-cultural
society. Kerikeri is both a beautiful place in the Bay of Islands, and New Zealand's most historic site of national importance.
Taste some of regions best wines at one of our award winning local vineyards.
We will also get the opportunity to see a Maori Pa, and there is the option for a gentle five minute river
walk before returning to Waitangi Wharf to rejoin your ship, via the Hururu waterfall.
If you would like a private tour following this itinerary, for groups from 1 to 100 persons, then
please contact us and we will be pleased to provide a quotation for a Signature Class Tour. |
