Itinerary
Meet our
cruise as you get off the tender from the Cruise ship. We venture along the coast towards Opua. We then head over to Okiato Passing Omata estate vineyard and Kororareka oyster farms
along the way.
Sit back and relax on comfortable seating while lunch is served and we turn towards historic Russell and our original capital. Your choice of Venison, New Zealand rack
of lamb or steamed fish all served with gourmet potatoes, fresh salads and delicious dressings. Vegetarian meals are available on request.
Once known as the 'hell hole of the Pacific' by
whalers, traders and sealers Russell was the original port in the north before the larger port in Auckland became more popular. Russell is now a picturesque waterfront village full of old
homesteads, historic churches and wooden cottages. Here you will have the option to disembark and explore the township or return with us to Paihia and your ship.
