Taieri Gorge Train Trip and Edwardian Heritage This is one of the world's great train trips and a 'must do' lifetime experiences. You will be met at the ship and taken to the Dunedin Railway Station to
join the train for a half day journey up the Taieri River Gorge. The line winds its way up the edge of the Taieri River, a full commentary gives you the story about the engineering feat of
construction which took from 1879 to 1891. Following the train journey we then return to Dunedin for a full afternoon of sight seeing, including a guided tour of Olveston House and the famous
Baldwin Street, the steepest in the world, plus time for some shopping. |

A 'must do' tour for all the Botanical enthusiasts or for those who simply love peaceful places and beautiful gardens. We will show you our Dunedin Botanic Garden which was the first established
in NZ in June 1863 making it the oldest European gardens in New Zealand. The Dunedin Chinese Garden is relatively new and the only authentic one in the southern hemisphere. It was built by
Chinese artisans and is a truly tranquil location in the middle of the city. Glenfalloch on the Otago Peninsula covers 35 acres and was originally a private property. The Peninsula Trust acquired
it and now it is a beautiful place to relax and have lunch. |
