Rotorua - Te Puia - Rainbow Springs
Visit Te Puia, one of Rotorua's favourite destinations, see the famous Pohutu geyser, Kiwi birds, mud pools and much more. Watch a Maori cultural performance in the authentic Marae, plus wood carving and flax weaving demonstrations. After a break for lunch [not included], we tour the sights of Rotorua before visiting Rainbow Springs, a showcase of New Zealand's flora and fauna, here clear natural springs feed streams full of magnificent Trout. A variety of other New Zealand native species can also be seen at close hand.

Wet 'N' Wild Rotorua - White Water Rafting - Luge - ZORB
This fun filled day offers you the chance to experience some of the extreme activities New Zealand is famous for, all within a short drive from your cruise ship. If you want action then this is the tour for you, a nonstop adrenaline pumping day you will remember for ever. We look after the transport so you can enjoy yourselves to the max. If the standard tour program is not enough then check out some of the add-on options for even more fun, if you have the nerve, these are Jet Boating, a Helicopter Flight, or a Tandem SkyDive.

Hobbiton Movie Set - Waitomo Glow-Worm Caves - Kiwi Culture Show
First, visit the movie set location of Hobbiton for a guided tour, made famous in the Lord of the Rings films, then on to Waitomo for a tour through the caves and cruise the underground caverns to see the famous Glow-worms.  After some free time for lunch we visit Woodlyn Park to enjoy the informative and humorous "Story of the New Zealand Bush" show at Billy Black's. We then take a scenic drive through the Waikato farming district back to Tauranga.  This is a 10 hour tour so you need to make sure your ship's time in port is suitable.

Rotorua - Trout Fishing & Rotorua Sightseeing
Experience the fun of Trout Fishing on Lake Rotorua renowned by fisherman world wide for its abundance of Brown and Rainbow Trout.  Join our experienced local guide aboard your fully equipped fishing launch for a morning of hands on fishing, great for both beginners and the more experienced. Your catch will then be prepared for lunch at the guide's lake side lodge.  The afternoon is free for sightseeing in Rotorua, destination charges not included.

Rotorua - Waimangu Valley Walk - Lake Cruise - Lunch - Polynesian Spa
Explore the natural beauty of the landscape.  A scenic drive from Tauranga brings us to Waimangu, a valley that has experienced many geothermal events. First morning tea, then an easy 2 hour [downhill] walk to Lake Rotomaha. Taking the lake cruise, our guide explaining the events of the 1886 eruption of Tarawera. Then back to Rotorua for lunch at the exclusive Lake Spa retreat at the world famous Polynesian Spa.  Time to enjoy the many hot pools by the lake side. Option to try one of the special treatments [must be pre-booked] before heading back to join the ship.
