This tour is a longer version of the standard Waitomo day. The difference is that you enjoy a personalised
experience with Spellbound, quite separate to the main cave sytems at Waitomo. Again, most of the travel time will be spent in the Waikato Region, which is famed both for its dairy
production and also the unusual limestone rock and cave formations of its Waitomo area.
We still enjoy a BBQ lunch before we do the tour. As with the standard day, we use an
alternative route on the return to Auckland, just for some perspective. |

Coromandel and Cathedral Cove overnight tour This tour is a gem for those who have another day available for touring. The purpose here is to break a 12.5 hour day into two days and allow the
client time to just relax and enjoy rural New Zealand. Day one focuses on getting to and enjoying, the Coromandel and the final part of the day covers Cathedral Cove and the 60-90 minute return
walk that goes with it. The night is spent in either Tairua or Pauanui. The second day we return to Auckland through the Hunua Ranges, work our way back into the suburbs via the south
east coast and then to Auckland city. The Coromandel Peninsula has a more laid back alternative feel. |
