Auckland Tour Itineraries

Auckland, the largest city in New Zealand with a population of 1.3 million, is the embarkation port for many Cruise Ships. The Cruise Terminal is located adjacent to the Hilton Hotel in the heart of the city and is approximately 30 minutes by taxi from the Airport. We can arrange your Transfers to and from the Airport and also recommend Hotels suitable for those extra days you may want to spend in this vibrant city.

Below we list a range of itineraries that give you chance to see not only the main Auckland City highlights but also some of the surrounding area, including the famous Waitomo Glow Worm Caves, just a 2 1/2 hour drive south of the City.

If you have a special itinerary in mind then contact us for an exclusive Signature Class tour and we can create a private tour. We can arrange visits to any destination, organise a wide range of actrivities and cater for any special interests you may have.

Contact us so that we can discuss your requirements.

This tour is a longer version of the standard Waitomo day.  The difference is that you enjoy a personalised experience with Spellbound, quite separate to the main cave sytems at Waitomo.  Again, most of the travel time will be spent in the Waikato Region, which is famed both for its dairy production and also the unusual limestone rock and cave formations of its Waitomo area.

We still enjoy a BBQ lunch before we do the tour.   As with the standard day, we use an alternative route on the return to Auckland, just for some perspective.
