Meet at ship or city hotel for transfer to the Sydney Opera House for the "Essential Tour". Experience the miracle of architecture and engineering during this guided tour taking you into one of the busiest performing arts centres in the world. Visit at least one of the many venues, possibly several, depending upon availability when they are free from performances. Here live performances are staged each year to audiences of around 1.5 million. Upon completion, your tour continues for a city sights tour including a drive over Sydney Harbour Bridge. Travel through the historic Rocks Area and on to the world famous Bondi Beach.

The Sydney Essential Tour, takes you to the heart of Sydney and its leading lady, the Sydney Opera House.  Fifty years ago a young Danish architect, dreaming of Bennelong Point, designed a masterpiece which pushed the boundaries of creativity and science - and put Sydney on the map forever.

See inside the world's most recognisable sails.  Experience this miracle of architecture and engineering.  A work of art that came into existence against impossible odds - to become one of the busiest performing arts centres in the world.

The Opera House Guides will take you on an emotional journey, engrossing you in a story to rival any opera plot with its dramatic twists and turns.  You will visit one of the major venues - where live performances happen every day.  There are some 1500 performances staged every year, in every genre you can imagine. 

After absorbing all the sights and sounds of the Opera House, you will enjoy a tour of Sydney that takes you across the harbour bridge, the historic Rocks areas and then out to famous Bondi Beach, before returning you to your ship or hotel.
