Travel to Bonorong Wildlife Park to experience the Tasmanian Devils, Wombats, Wallabies, Echidnas, Quolls, Koalas and other Tasmanian animals first hand. Afterwards continue to Mount Field National Park with a rain forest walk to Russell Falls, Horseshoe Falls and the Tall Trees. This enchanting walk in Tasmania's pure wilderness is accompanied by a delightful Tasmanian picnic lunch.  Morning or afternoon tea will also be provided during the tour.

Itinerary

We meet you at the cruise ship port gates 30 minutes after the ships arrival. 

First we travel to Bonorong Wildlife Park to experience the Tasmanian Devils, Wombats, Wallabies, Echidnas, Quolls, Koalas and other Tasmanian animals at first  hand. This Park has a committed wildlife conservation and animal rescue program and is actively involved in protecting the Tasmanian Devil. Animals are available for photographs and may be touched whilst a high level of interpretation if offered by their knowledgeable keepers.

Afterwards continue to Mount Field National Park with a rain forest walk to Russell Falls, Horseshoe Falls and the Tall Trees. This enchanting walk in Tasmania's pure wilderness is accompanied by a delightful Tasmanian lunch.

Learn about Tasmania's temperate rain forest wilderness and distinguish between some of its ancient tree species. The tall trees are some of the tallest species in the world, a local Eucalypt, towering up to nearly 80 metres above the ground.

We then take a leisurely drive back to the ship.
