About Mount Classic Tours

Mount Classic Tours Ltd was formed in 2001 by owner Ian Holroyd, initially with a single Rolls Royce limousine providing shore excursions to cruise ship passengers visiting Tauranga. Over the years the business grew to be a leading supplier of tours and transport services in the region.  Now with a fleet of 25 vehicles based in Tauranga, ranging from Rolls Royce limousines to 36 seater tour coaches, we can cater for any transport requirements.

Until COVID-19 impacted our business, we also had 15 additional minibuses situated at other cruise ship ports of call around New Zealand, but these have now been sold until the cruise ships return, which we estimate will be in October 2021.

With our team of experienced travel and tourism professionals we manage a number of operations within the Mount Classics Group, offering multi day small group tours [Hinterland Tours], speciality food focused tour [Taste of Plenty] and cruise ship shore excursions [Shore Trips & Tours].
